
The Liezi is often considered the third most important text in Daoism after the Dao De Jing and Zhuangzi. It is named after Master Lie who may or may not have been a real person. It includes 8 chapters and employs, “myths, legend, and history in sayings and stories that both entertain and enlighten.” (The Book of Master Lie, Introduction).
